Become better equipped to study God’s Word and learn the foundations of how to prepare and lead a Bible study.
The ETL Leadership Lab is an online learning environment that was designed to equip first responders and service members to become more proficient at reading and studying God’s Word. Furthermore, the Leadership Lab seeks to embolden disciple makers to apply their love of God and His Word to everyday ministry.
“I wish there was someone in my department that would lead a Bible study.” “How would I go about leading a small group in my unit?” “What’s the best way to read the Bible with a co-worker or friend?” These are just a few common comments/questions we have heard over the past few years from a number of officers. They have a desire to be a light in their departments and communities, but simply aren’t sure where to begin. Believe me, we know, it can feel like a daunting task!
The reality is, God has called us all to be faithful disciple makers and He has given us the tools to do so! Often times, we find ourselves embolden and excited but not practically equipped. Our heart is to change that!
The Leadership Lab is broken down into two modules: How to Study the Bible for all it’s Worth and Foundations of Creating and Leading a Bible Study. The classes are held online in a small group format over the course of 4 weeks. Students of the class can expect lecture, case studies, practicals, group work/discussion, and a small amount of home work. We call it the Leadership Lab, because a lab is a place providing opportunity for experimentation, observation, or practice in a field of study. We can ask questions, fail, grow, and learn together.
The Leadership Lab will lay a foundation for you and hopefully act as a springboard so that you can fulfill God’s calling on your life.
To sign up or ask questions, simply email Josh@EntertheLion.
Once groups are formed, we will work with each group to set our 4 week schedule. If you work midnights or rotating shifts, we will work with you to make sure that you are in a group that can meet your needs!
The class will run on a rotating basis and the courses will begin during the week of Jan 17. Sign up today. We can’t wait to see you in the Lab!
